Who we are
With forty years of experience and expertise, today Francesca Galloway is known as one of the foremost galleries dealing in Indian painting and courtly arts. Combining a personal approach with a global outlook, we exhibit internationally as well as at our gallery in London. Collaborating with the leading scholars in this field, our catalogues and publications are reference works in their own right, helping to advance the research and visibility of this fascinating and important subject.
What we do
We can help with estate valuations and offer guidance for collectors at all stages and levels of their pursuit. Over the years, the relationships we have built with collectors have enabled us to disperse collections we have helped to form in previous decades. We have also been privileged to represent entire collections for sale and have successfully placed important private collections with museums all over the world.
In addition to Indian painting and courtly arts, we have been dealing in textiles and costume since the 1980s. Our areas of specialism encompass important Asian and European textiles and iconic examples of 20th century fashion.
As well as connections with private collectors, our relationships with museums are central to what we do and have been built up over several decades. Francesca Galloway has sold to many of the world's great museums, as well as to smaller institutions, in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
